Daniel and LaShawn Purnell tied the knot on a beautiful February afternoon at The Red Barn at Sycamore Farm in Terre Haute. Their winter wedding day was heart-warming, emotional, and just overflowing with joy! I am beyond honored to know these special people and to have had the opportunity to capture their special day!

“All because two people swiped right” is the common phrase surrounding their relationship! They are each an answer to prayer for each other, and that was made so evident all throughout their emotional and classy winter wedding. Daniel is in the military and is based in Terre Haute, so LaShawn would come down from her home in Michigan to visit him! They regularly took walks together, and they happened to walk by this event and wedding venue often. LaShawn had already called to check on available dates before Daniel proposed because she knew it was coming. As soon as he put a ring on her finger, they booked their venue!

I am so honored that they found me on The Knot and reached out shortly after! We hit it off so well and became friends instantly! LaShawn and I especially bonded over the fact that our men are both in the military. We quickly scheduled their engagement photos at Newfields and got to wedding planning! LaShawn literally thought about everything! Their classy winter wedding was emotional and perfect.
