This elopement styled shoot in Utah at the Bonneyville Salt Flats hosted by my good friend, Ana Pierson Photography was an absolute DREAM!

Flying out to Utah for a week of learning, community, and photography at the beginning of March was the most incredible experience! And this elopement was just one of three that we got to photograph! Charlie and Rebekah got married just one month before this planned shoot so they wore their very own wedding getup! Getting to capture their love is something that I’ll never forget!

This elopement at the Salt Flats was absolutely gorgeous! It wasn’t too cold at first, but then a nearby snowstorm brought some wind and snow toward the end. Rebekah decided that going barefoot was the way to go and Charlie valiantly held her for a good portion of the photos! They are such troopers and I am so thankful for their perseverance and determination!

When choosing the spot along the entire length of the salt flats to settle in, we opted for a small amount of water on the ground rather than none at all. With the mountains in the background and the sun shining above us, the still water gave us beautiful reflections! Editing these proved to be quite different than normal, but I love a good challenge and I love how they turned out!
