The Kovacik’s welcomed their first baby into the world in October, and it was an honor capturing some lifestyle newborn photos for them in their home. We hit it off so well at Derek and Lindsey’s maternity photos a few weeks ago at Metea Park. I was ecstatic to spend time with them again and meet their baby! Such a precious little bundle of cuteness and joy!

Brooklyn’s nursery was absolutely perfect and her outfits couldn’t have been more beautiful! The sun was giving wonderful warmth and light throughout our time together. Watching Derek and Lindsey love on their baby girl was so heart-warming and one of the many reasons I LOVE newborn sessions! To be trusted with such precious memories is seriously my biggest honor!

About halfway through Brooklyn’s photos, she made us aware that her diaper needed to be changed. That was the perfect moment to switch into the next outfit. Moments like these remind me why doing newborn photos in your own home are so much more convenient and easy! We had a five minute intermission, and then we were right back to finishing up the photos!
