John and Cathy’s romantic engagement photos at Headwaters Park in Fort Wayne gave me life!

I’m not even kidding. Their love for each other far outweighed any nervousness or “awkwardness” they forewarned me about. They made my job so easy and I couldn’t stop smiling (and laughing) the whole time! Their joy was so contagious and I love how they incorporated a classy outfit and a more casual outfit to their photos, both timeless in their own way!

John and Cathy wanted to get their romantic engagement photos taken immediately after booking me for their July wedding. We were able to sneak their photos in just before fall and I absolutely love how they turned out! We had some nice overcast skies and a mostly empty park helping us out. This is more proof that you don’t need perfect sunshine to create beautiful images.

John lives in Fort Wayne, but Cathy lives and works in Goshen but travels to Fort Wayne on her days off. It was so much fun getting to know these two more and I can’t wait for their small, backyard wedding in 2024!
