Intimate Joyful Elopement in Richmond, IN

August 30, 2023

What a pleasure and honor it was to capture the intimate and joyful elopement of Eric and Tami this summer.

Tami and Eric decided to get married in the same church that Tami’s parents got married in 50+ years ago. Only it wasn’t just any wedding because they decided to elope with only their parents in attendance! This is a second marriage for both of them and it’s so evident that God had his hand on their relationship. Their love for each other just overflowed and it was such a beautiful union to witness!

Tami wore an absolutely beautiful off the shoulder gown from David’s Bridal and Eric donned an classic black tux from Men’s Wearhouse. It was a cloudy day for the most part and the exterior of the church made for the perfect backdrop of their bridal portraits. This sweet couple decided to wash each other’s feet during the ceremony and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Their favorite song is Goodness of God by Bethel Music and that’s what they washed each other’s feet to!

I only spent two hours with the newlyweds but their joyful, intimate elopement was such a pleasure to witness! It was so great that I would absolutely LOVE to add more elopements to my calendar! Be sure to send me a message if you’re interested and check out my favorites below!
