She said yes!! And now proposal photos are one of my favorite things 🙂

Chase reached out to me in MARCH to plan his proposal to Sophie in JULY when they were planning a trip to Indiana to spend an extended holiday weekend with family! The lengths this guy went to plan and prepare for this special moment is something to applaud and take notes on lol

Sophie was completely surprised by the proposal and was even more shocked to learn the extent of Chase’s planning! She attended Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, IN for a year so Chase really wanted to utilize its beautiful campus! There is a folktale that says if a guy and a girl walk across the bridge holding hands, then they’ll get married! Well, they live in South Carolina but Chase knew that they would be in the area for the July 4 weekend to spend the holiday with family. Being the thoughtful and intentional man that he is, he starting planning this special moment MONTHS in advance. Thankfully the rainy forecast held off for us just as he was proposing!

I had arrived an hour early to make sure I was set up in plenty of time in case the timeline changed at all, but they arrived EXACTLY when they were supposed to. Sophie wasn’t prepared to take photos, but she and Chase happened coordinate outfits PERFECTLY! Everything worked out incredibly well and she said yes!
