Baby William isn’t a newborn anymore, but that didn’t stop the Pottmeyer family from getting some in-home photos with him.

I was so honored when Shelby reached out to me on Instagram for some late newborn photos. Shelby and Glenn moved had to Fort Wayne from Cincinnati right before William was born. Glenn had started a new job at the local hospital, so there really wasn’t any down time to do anything besides prepare the house for a new baby. That being said, photos were not at the top of their minds when William came into the world in late August. Nonetheless, I am so happy they decided to still get some photos taken while he was just under two months old in early October. He was wide awake most of the time, which is very abnormal for most of my newborn sessions. It was definitely a nice surprise! I love all of the facial expressions he gave during our time together!

All of that to say, get the photos taken! Photos help you remember when nothing else can. Seriously though, even if it seems out of order or even late, just do it. You won’t regret it!
