When a lakefront property on Lake Wawasee will no longer be in your family’s possession, you make one last summer shindig out of it and invite me to come take extended family photos!

Well, even if that’s not you would do, that’s what the Luber family did! This sweet family has grown over the last few years and wanted some updated photos on their property before it was no longer theirs. We spent a good amount of time on the dock getting the kids to smile and laugh for the camera before we had some chill time in the “front yard”. The kids all had their own fishing poles and were going to town trying to catch fish! There was football, lawn mowing, photo capturing, dog petting, and so much smiling and laughing. It started raining towards the very end of our time together, but we managed to snag one more photo in the “back yard” by the lilly pads.

I will be honest, the kids were not big fans of the larger family, “posed”, photos and it shows in some of them. That’s going to happen! With all of the fun that was happening, they didn’t want to go back to taking photos. We just rolled with it and still got some great photos they’ll be able to look back on forever.
