Annie got a surprise proposal from her boyfriend at the end of her law school grad photos at Notre Dame!

Annie had booked a sunrise grad session with me and mentioned that her parents would be coming along for a few photos. What she didn’t know is that her boyfriend, Chase, had found me on Instagram and coordinated a surprise proposal at the end of her law school photos. These two already had their wedding date and venue secured so it was just a matter of when he was going to propose.

I met up with Annie and her parents by the law school where we used the arches and beautiful doors as the backdrop. Then we made our way to the Dome, Basilica, and ended at the Grotto. I suggested that we actually take a few by the lake with just her white dress too. Annie excitedly walked over to where Chase was waiting across the road from the Grotto. He wasted no time getting down on his knee and making it official!

We walked back to the Grotto and then up to the Dome for just engaged photos. It was the perfect foggy morning with hardly any people walking around in the background! I would say that Annie’s law school grad photos and surprise proposal is by far one of my favorite moments I’ve gotten to capture at Notre Dame. They are the sweetest and I’m so excited for them to start this next chapter!
