This is the third summertime family session I’ve had on the beach, and I just love how their photos turned out! It was only my first time shooting at Warren Dunes though and it was definitely a good workout!

I’ve actually already had 2 of the kids from the Lozada Family in front of my camera for senior photos, so this was a treat! They had no shame in being themselves and had so much fun doing it! It was a mostly overcast day but the sun came out for a little bit at the very beginning. I actually really love the variety we got with these photos because of their change in clothes and different lighting scenarios. If you’re on the fence about getting photos taken in “harsh sun” or overcast skies, let this be your sign that they both look great! I have learned that I tend to prefer overcast skies in these situations because it makes things easier overall.

This guys are troopers walking to the shoreline, trudging up big hills, and going with all my “crazy” ideas. I couldn’t have loved my time with them more and I had a hard time picking out my favorites.
