PSA: I'm due with my first baby on April 9 so I will be on maternity from now until late April. I already have 15+ Grad sessions booked between late April and mid May. I can not book any more grad sessions or regular sessions during that time as much as I wish I could book everyone who inquires with me. The earliest I'm scheduling regular sessions is late May. I appreciate your patience as I navigate running a business and becoming a first time mom!

Summer Family Photos at the Lake

I got to take some family photos for this sweet crew at their house on Lake Wawasee this summer!

It’s pretty hard for the Miller family to get everyone together for any period of time, so I was honored to capture some photos for them when they did! We found the most perfect spot in their backyard with the most beautiful light! I quickly learned that the front yard is the side that faces the water. I am so grateful that we had the most perfect weather and everyone was so kind and fun!

Because of where the sun was, the front yard didn’t provide the best lighting for photos. We still rolled with it in order to get a couple of photos close to the water. Eventually, a portion of the front yard got shaded so we immediately took advantage of that! The amount of laughter coming from this sweet family and the mild summer heat really made this photo session so enjoyable and I love how the photos came out!
