Kevin and Carly Freel are two of the most caring, genuine, fun, romantic, amazing people I’ve ever met and to say that I was honored to capture their special day is the understatement of the century!
Their story is a slightly confusing one because they were already sorta related through marriage! Kevin’s sister’s husband (his brother in law) is cousins with Carly!! And now they’re not only cousins, but Carly is his sister-in-law! Kevin’s sister and brother-in-law set it all up and they couldn’t be a better match for each other. Carly lived in Kentucky and Kevin lived in Indiana, so they did long distance for pretty much their entire relationship, but they made it work, and their wedding was the beginning of a brand new chapter for them!
Carly was the most chill and organized bride I’ve ever worked with, and their wedding day went unbelievably smooth! Everything from her simple yet stunning dress, to their DIY everything (she literally made her bouquet out of fake flowers from Hobby Lobby!!), to their very intentional and emotional first looks AND ceremony, to their very unique and entertaining reception, to their sunset-less sunset photos, this day was so special and undeniably perfect.
The love Carly and Kevin had for each other, the Lord, and their friends and family was so evident and joy literally spilled out everywhere they went! Their first dance as husband and wife started out in the way most first dances do, and then they switched half way to perform their favorite “tik-tok” dance and had SO much fun! Their wedding party was so kind, helpful, and fun, and everyone was just so easy to work! It definitely helped that everyone, especially Kevin and Carly, were so photogenic and gave me so many great smiles and candid moments, I could hardly keep up!!
