Summer Engagement Photos in Fort Wayne for Blake & Brooke

Meet Blake and Brooke! I got to hang out with them for a couple hours back at the end of June for their engagement photos at Lakeside Rose Gardens in Fort Wayne and we had SO MUCH FUN! They are one of the sweetest couples I have ever met and they are going to be tying the knot in September. They met on Tinder and seriously are so perfect for each other. We were only planning for a 30-minute photo session, but that quickly turned into a 1.5 hour photo session LOL The sun was absolutely perfect and these two made my job so easy!
Honestly, I have to say that this is my favorite session EVER. For real, they were such naturals in front of the camera, their wardrobe choice was on point, the sun cooperated amazingly, and I got to use my newer to me camera body and lens (the Cannon EOS 5D Mark III with a 50 mm 1.2 LSM lens is a dream come true and I can’t believe it took me so long to make the purchase!) so it was an incredible night! Their gallery is the exact vision I’ve had for a long time for what I want my style to be. I’ve worked and worked on figuring out how to get here, and over the last couple years I’ve kept getting closer and closer. Now, I can finally say that I have my style and I’m going to run with it 🙂
But… back to Blake and Brooke 😉 I was told up front that Blake does not smile with teeth, so I made it my goal to get him to smile with teeth AT LEAST ONCE for their engagement photos. And guys, I’m so happy to say that I succeeded pretty early on LOL I only got him to do it once, but I’m pretty stoked about that and I call that a success!
I seriously can not wait for September when I get to hang out with them again, and this time for a whole day to celebrate their marriage and have them in front of my camera AGAIN!
